Developed in the 1960s in the USA by Dr George Goodheart, a chiropractor, Kinesiology was introduced to the UK in the 1970s. In the States it is called Applied Kinesiology.
Taking an integrated approach to medicine, George Goodheart established a connection between specific muscles of the body and meridians, along with their associated organs and body systems. These muscles are tested for the quality of their response. This allows the practitioner to identify where imbalances lie in the body and what is needed to address them.
